Finra’s Florida regional director resigns
Mitchell C. Atkins, regional director for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Inc.’s District 7 region in Boca Raton, Fla., has resigned.
������������� “Mitch resigned to pursue other interests,” confirmed Finra spokeswoman Nancy Condon in an email.
������������� Reached by phone, Ms. Condon declined further comment.
������������� The Boca Raton office that Mr. Atkins oversaw covers the state of Florida and has additional responsibility for Atlanta, Dallas and New Orleans.
������������� Mr. Atkins, who has been with Finra since 1993, was the first director for the Boca Raton office, which was also Finra’s first Florida office when it opened in 2005.
